Thomas Griebel is a graphic designer who currently resides in Rochester, NY. He earned his Commercial Art and Illustration associate degree from Monroe Community College in 2020 and earned his BFA in Graphic Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2024. He is currently a graphic designer for the RIT K-12 University Center where he has created many successful projects with the team.
His diverse portfolio includes impactful posters, intuitive maps, memorable logos, and more, with select pieces serving as educational resources outside of his art classes during his drawing career. Now, he enjoys information design, branding, wayfinding/signage, and advertising. He also likes to dabble into presentation and motion design.
Outside of Graphic Design, Thomas enjoys going on hikes in State Parks, bike rides along the Erie Canal, playing video games, studying the history of Rochester, and does a bit of photography as a side hobby. He was the Public Relations Chair and performer for RIT's WADAIKO, a Japanese Taiko Drumming club and is now currently training with JGB SHIBUKI, a taiko group based in Buffalo.
Driven by creativity and fueled by curiosity, Thomas Griebel is on a mission to bring ideas to life through the power of design. When tasked with something new to him, he enjoys learning about it while developing a creative solution. Whether he's crafting captivating visuals or exploring his diverse interests, he's committed to making a meaningful impact in the world of graphic design and beyond.
