Flexuous

Flexuous — /'flekSHōōəs'/ — Full of bends and curves.
This is my interpretation of the word that consists of both vector and raster imagery, with some of the vector images and shapes coming from raster images. It was primary created with Adobe Illustrator but raster editing to remove backgrounds were done with Photoshop.

Here is the final product of the piece. The birds and cars are raster imagery while everything else is vector images.
Development/Progress
Early test with the word "Flexuous" with me trying to make it all curvy. This did not end up in the final however.
Below are two very early designs of my interpretation of the word. At this stage, I wasn't so sure what to do and just played around with what I found that could be used for the project.
Another version where instead of shapes, I decided to tie in the road back with the real world.
(Note: finalized cars and streetlamps are used in this image and did not originally appear at this stage.)
The almost final version, but the version that was presented to the class. The birds were added to try to help it better connect with nature (and they are also full of bends and curves.) However, can you find an error in this version that I missed?
