In 10th grade in 2015, my CAD class was tasked to redesigned our high school's logo based off a Viking as a class project (it would not actually change). For the redesign, we used Autodesk Inventor which in my opinion wasn't a great for 2D design. In the end, the 2015 design turned out alright, but could've been improved.
Fast forward to 2020, and I decided to pick up this project again and redo the logo based on the skills I've learned in Adobe Illustrator at the time. For the redesign, I wanted to keep it similar to the original 2015 design. In the end, I paid more attention to colors, as well as making it look 3D with the use of gradients.

The final product created in Adobe Illustrator. For this project I tried to make it look like the original High School Design, but with improvements thanks to the skills I learned since.

The original logo that was created in 2015 using Autodesk Inventor, a program best used for 3D designs rather than 2D designs.
